May 4 2010 2 <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />CONSENT CALENDAR NOTICE <br />All matters listed on the Consent Calendar are to be approved with one motion <br />unless a member of the Council or the public requests that separate action be <br />taken on a specific item. <br />COUNCIL CONSENT CALENDAR (Items 3-13) <br />3. Approval of minutes April 20, 2010. <br />Recommended Action: Approve minutes. <br />4. Minute action approving Mayor's appointment to the Community Development <br />Block Grant Committee (Claudia Archer, 429-6296). <br />Funding Source: There are no costs associated with this appointment. <br />Recommended Action: Approve Mayor's appointment to the Community <br />Development Block Grant Committee by minute action. <br />5. Resolution 2010-97 updating the Files Management Manual Records Retention <br />Schedule (Claudia Archer, 429-6296). <br />Funding Source: None. <br />Recommended Action: Adopt resolution. <br />6. Resolution 2010-98 authorizing the Public Works Director to sign a Funding <br />Agreement with the California Department of Water Resources accepting Local <br />Levee Assistance Program funds (George Hicks, 428-7494). <br />Fundinq Source: The Funding Agreement authorizes the City to receive a <br />reimbursement of 50% of the total cost to investigate the levee system along Dan <br />Wilson Creek, or $46,000. The funding for this investigation was provided <br />through the Storm Drainage Maintenance Fund and no General Funds were <br />used for this work. <br />Recommended Action: Adopt resolution. <br />7. Resolution 2010-99 accepting the East-West Water Transmission Pipeline <br />Segment 1 Project (36-inch) as complete (George Hicks, 428-7494). <br />Funding Source: The project cost of $7,236,779 was funded from the Water <br />Improvement Fund. No General Fund money was utilized for the project. <br />
