June 15, 2010 2 <br />COUNCIL CONSENT CALENDAR (Items 1-17) <br />1. Approval of minutes — June 1, 2010. <br />Recommended Action: Approve minutes. <br />2. Resolution 2010-155 supporting the Local Jobs for America Act (Jeanette <br />Bellinder, 428-7749). <br />Funding Source: The City's estimated funding from the Act is in excess of $15.0 <br />million. The allocation method for this funding has yet to be determined. <br />Recommended Action: Adopt resolution. <br />3. Redevelopment Agency Resolution RA2010-11 approving the First Amendment <br />to the Commercial Lease and Deposit Receipt by and between the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Fairfield and the California Tribal <br />Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Partnership (CA TANF) (David A. <br />White, 428-7398). <br />Funding Source: Under the First Amendment CA TANF would be required to pay <br />monthly rent of $2,205. Although this is unchanged from what CA TANF is <br />currently paying to the Agency, the monthly rent is consistent with the <br />marketplace. CA TANF will continue to be responsible for its utilities and the <br />heating, ventilating and air conditioning system, while the Agency will continue to <br />be responsible for exterior items, such as the roof, parking areas, sidewalks, <br />driveways, etc. <br />Recommended Action: Adopt resolution. <br />4. Resolution 2010-156 authorizing the purchase of a replacement ten wheel dump <br />truck (George R. Hicks, 428-7494). <br />Funding Source: The total cost for the ten wheel dump truck is $115,912, plus <br />taxes. This vehicle has been budgeted for replacement and funding for this unit <br />will come from the Water Vehicle Replacement Fund. <br />Recommended Action: Adopt resolution. <br />5. Resolution 2010-157 extending the deadline for issuing bonds and the use of <br />allocation by the California Enterprise Development Authority from June 30, 2010 <br />to September 30, 2010 pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 2010-46 (Charles <br />Ching, 428-7039). <br />Funding Source: There is no financial impact to the City. <br />
