June 15, 2010 2 COUNCIL CONSENT CALENDAR (Items 1-17) 1. Approval of minutes — June 1, 2010. Recommended Action: Approve minutes. 2. Resolution 2010-155 supporting the Local Jobs for America Act (Jeanette Bellinder, 428-7749). Funding Source: The City's estimated funding from the Act is in excess of $15.0 million. The allocation method for this funding has yet to be determined. Recommended Action: Adopt resolution. 3. Redevelopment Agency Resolution RA2010-11 approving the First Amendment to the Commercial Lease and Deposit Receipt by and between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Fairfield and the California Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Partnership (CA TANF) (David A. White, 428-7398). Funding Source: Under the First Amendment CA TANF would be required to pay monthly rent of $2,205. Although this is unchanged from what CA TANF is currently paying to the Agency, the monthly rent is consistent with the marketplace. CA TANF will continue to be responsible for its utilities and the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system, while the Agency will continue to be responsible for exterior items, such as the roof, parking areas, sidewalks, driveways, etc. Recommended Action: Adopt resolution. 4. Resolution 2010-156 authorizing the purchase of a replacement ten wheel dump truck (George R. Hicks, 428-7494). Funding Source: The total cost for the ten wheel dump truck is $115,912, plus taxes. This vehicle has been budgeted for replacement and funding for this unit will come from the Water Vehicle Replacement Fund. Recommended Action: Adopt resolution. 5. Resolution 2010-157 extending the deadline for issuing bonds and the use of allocation by the California Enterprise Development Authority from June 30, 2010 to September 30, 2010 pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 2010-46 (Charles Ching, 428-7039). Funding Source: There is no financial impact to the City.
