CITY OF FAIRFIELD ORDINANCE NO. 83- /~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD AMENDING CHAPTER 25, ARTICLE I OF THE FAIRFIELD CITY CODE, ALSO KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Findings The proposed development is in conformity with the General Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and Redevelopment Plan for the Highway 12 Redevelopment Project based upon analysis contained in staff reports prepared for the Planning Commission. The design of the proposed development produces an environment of stable and desirable character consistent with all applicable goals, objectives, policies, proposals, criteria, standards and procedures of the General Plan as outlined in staff reports to the Planning Commission. The proposed development plan and development regulations exhibit creativity and innovation which will create proper architectural, engineering, planning and environmental design. No proposed use is found to be objectionable or to be injurious to property located in the vicinity by reason of odor, fumes, dust, smoke, cinders, glare, unsightliness, traffic congestion or to involve any hazard of fire or explosion. SECTION II: Chapter 25, Article I of the Fairfield City Code, also known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Fairfield, is hereby amended by changing: To the Planned Development (P.D.) Zone District ail that real property situate in the City of Fairfield, County of Solano, State of California, as shown on the Sectional Zoning Map attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and as described in the legal description of the property included as a part of the official file for the proposed rezoning.
